Sprinkler Fitter
Journeyperson or Experienced Apprentice
Full-time | Calgary and Southern Alberta
Quantum Fire Protection is looking for an experienced sprinkler fitter to join our growing team. Our preference is a qualified journeyperson, although a strong third- or fourth-year apprentice will also be considered.
This position is suited to someone who can work independently, communicate effectively, and take ownership of their work. The successful candidate should be prepared to take on meaningful project responsibility based on their experience and capabilities.
Position Details
What You’ll Do

Install, modify, test, and commission fire sprinkler and standpipe systems.

Read and work from sprinkler drawings, specifications, and project documents.

Coordinate sprinkler work with site supervision and other trades.

Plan material, equipment, and labour requirements for assigned work.

Identify site issues early and communicate them clearly.

Complete work safely, efficiently, and to Quantum’s quality standards.

Take on project leadership responsibilities appropriate to your experience and qualifications.
What We’re Looking For

Alberta-certified journeyperson sprinkler fitter or registered third- or fourth-year apprentice.

Strong practical knowledge of fire sprinkler installation.

Ability to read sprinkler drawings and understand project requirements.

Reliable, organized, and capable of working independently.

Clear communication and a professional approach with clients and other trades.

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to project sites.

Commitment to safe work and quality workmanship.
