Experienced Sprinkler Fitter
Journeyperson or 3rd- or 4th-Year Apprentice
Full-time | Calgary Area
$40–$55/hour
Quantum Fire Protection is looking for an experienced sprinkler fitter to join our growing team. Our preference is a qualified journeyperson, although a strong third- or fourth-year apprentice will also be considered.
This position is suited to someone who can work independently, communicate effectively, and take ownership of their work. The successful candidate should be prepared to take on meaningful project responsibility based on their experience and capabilities.
Position Details
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Install, modify, test, and commission fire sprinkler and standpipe systems.
• Read and work from sprinkler drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Coordinate sprinkler work with site supervision and other trades.
• Plan material, equipment, and labour requirements for assigned work.
• Identify site issues early and communicate them clearly.
• Complete work safely, efficiently, and to Quantum’s quality standards.
• Take on project leadership responsibilities appropriate to your experience and qualifications.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Red Seal journeyperson sprinkler fitter or registered third- or fourth-year apprentice.
• Strong practical knowledge of fire sprinkler installation.
• Ability to read sprinkler drawings and understand project requirements.
• Reliable, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Clear communication and a professional approach with clients and other trades.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to Calgary-area project sites.
• Commitment to safe work and quality workmanship.
Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter
Entry-Level or 1st- or 2nd-Year Apprentice
Full-time | Calgary Area
$25–$35/hour
Interested in building a career in the sprinkler trade? Quantum Fire Protection is looking for a dependable, hardworking apprentice who is ready to learn and become part of a growing team.
Sprinkler experience is not required. We are open to applicants who are completely new to the trade, as well as registered first- and second-year apprentices. Construction or mechanical experience is helpful, but reliability, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn matter most.
Position Details
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Assist with the installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of fire sprinkler systems.
• Learn to work safely with sprinkler pipe, fittings, hangers, equipment, and tools.
• Help with material handling, site organization, and general installation work.
• Learn to read sprinkler drawings and understand how systems are installed.
• Take direction, ask questions, and steadily build your skills in the trade.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• A genuine interest in building a career in the sprinkler trade.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to the team.
• Comfortable with physical work, ladders, lifts, and working at heights.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to Calgary-area project sites.
• Construction or mechanical experience is helpful but not required.
• Registered apprentices and applicants new to the trade are both welcome.
